A not-for-profit institution, SGH is wholly owned by the government of Singapore and the flagship hospital of the public healthcare system. The first and largest hospital in Singapore which provides affordable... more specialist care for patients, training for doctors and other healthcare professionals, and conducts research to bring better care to its patients. The hospital provides a comprehensive range of medical services within one complex. There are 5 National Specialist Centres co-located on SGH Campus, facilitating a multi-disciplinary approach to treatment. SGH practises team-based care, provided by clinicians, nurses as well as allied health professionals.
Customer service over the phone was ridiculous. SGH staff Christina Tan handling billing issues and payment issues really need to go for customer service courses. Should not let a rude and unreliable staff... more like here represent SGH even though its just over the phone but it goes a long way on impression over the organisation.
Registration system down apparently since 1am but still not fixed at 11am. A bit chaotic but the staff is trying to cope. I shudder to imagine any IT system in a life-critical environment going down for... more such long duration. SGH should be more mindful.
Parking is a huge concern and Wilson parking takes advantage of this demand by blocking half the carpark and charging $3 for 'valet parking' People not coming to SGH for fun and entetainentet, they are... more there becuase either they are sick or they visiting someone who is sick. Find this kind of profiteering ridiculous and sickening.
